Offida DOCG Pecorino
Guido Cocci Grifoni
Our first hectare, where the story of Pecorino began, is dedicated to Guido Cocci Grifoni. This is our latest expression of Pecorino, crafted in a limited number of numbered bottles.
Using descriptors for a wine with a lifespan of over a decade seems inadequate,
so we’ll offer just a few notes. Among our whites, it is the fullest, most saline and smooth.
It opens with notes of ripe apple and pomegranate, then transitions to intense, fleshy yellow flowers. Aromatic herbs come forward decisively, accompanied by a captivating scent of star anise.

A dedication and a thank you
If Colle Vecchio is the Pecorino discovered and planted by Guido, Guido Cocci Grifoni – Offida DOCG Pecorino is the cru that Marilena dedicates to her father, to his innovative and revolutionary spirit.
Not by chance, this is a wine that ages very well.
In oenology, cru refers to a single vineyard and a specific, limited growing area.
Wines produced from a cru are considered the best of the production.
Even the bottles are few and numbered.
So, when you’re in the mood for a gift — personal or to others — Guido (that’s what we call it here) is a great story to give.
