Ecosophy: the Third Edition

Whenever Ecosophy takes place, our Winery transforms from a place of production into a place of sharing.

From May 1st to 3rd, the Winery and Relais, as well as the vineyards and pathways, meadows and landscapes, became hidden corners where people could find shelter and listen to new stories about themselves and the places we inhabit.
The theme of shelter was chosen by Marta and Simona Angeletti for this third edition of Ecosophy. The contributions of the various professionals explored the theme through many different nuances, each time offering the perspective of history, silence, literature and practice, magic, and collage art. We began with Lucia Tancredi, who recounted the dawn of feminism; the following day, Fabiola Ruggiero introduced us to the Japanese tea ritual, while with Marta first and Chiara Santarelli afterward, we took part in a theatrical walk through the vineyards. We returned to the vineyards once again with Elena Santilli in search of the origins of our cultural heritage, and back at the Relais we created collages with Alice Pietrella. Naturally, there was no shortage of convivial and carefree moments to connect with one another and enjoy the special dishes from a menu specially designed by the chef.

“Ecosophy is a way to pause, to find a little light or to shed light. By listening to ourselves and connecting with nature and with others, we remind ourselves that it is possible to build a brighter and more conscious present and future,” says Simona. Marta adds: “It is interesting to notice how more and more people strongly feel the need to come together in a setting like Ecosophy. Over the years, the event has grown, and in this edition we welcomed both returning guests from last year and new Ecosophy participants. And that fills us with joy.”
